This is one of those super easy recipes, perfect for both lunch and dinner. Who doesn’t love a well-seasoned air fryer chicken breast with golden roasted potatoes?
Ingredients
- 1 medium chicken breast (not too thick – the kind you usually buy frozen, but thawed)
- 2 medium potatoes
- Chopped garlic to taste
- Salt to taste
- Oil to taste
- Dried herbs
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and slice them into rounds about 0.5 cm (¼ inch) thick, making sure they are not too thick or too thin. Season them with salt and oil, mixing well so they are evenly coated.
- Place the potatoes at the bottom of the air fryer basket or tray, then lay the chicken breast on top, spreading everything out so the heat can circulate properly.
- Cook in the air fryer without preheating at 340 °F (170 °C) for 12 minutes. Halfway through, open the basket and flip only the chicken breast.
- After the first 12 minutes, stir the potatoes so the ones at the bottom cook evenly, and flip the chicken breast again.
- Increase the temperature to 340 °F (170 °C) and cook for another 10 minutes. Remember to flip the chicken once more halfway through this final cooking time to ensure even browning and a juicy result.
